Description:
Contra Costa Electric, Inc. teamed with Power Systems Development to install 2.4 miles of extruded dialectric XLPE 230kv double circuit underground cable in duct bank for PG&E. This project also included the construction of the Cayetano Transition Station where the transition from underground to above ground takes place.
This project is part of PG&E's willingness to adapt to a changing environment in an effort to try to minimize their impact on local areas.
