Description:
Calpine and Bechtel teamed up to construct one of the first power plants of this size built in Contra Costa County in more than 50 years. Although Bechtel Corp. direct hired for the main portion of this project, Contra Costa Electric, Inc. was asked to construct the switchyard as well as assist with start up due to our knowledge and experience.

This was a challenging project as the schedule was very aggressive. Contra Costa Electric, Inc. was able to complete the work on time and on budget for yet another successful project.
