Description:
This highrise building is a landmark in Emeryville, with its seventeen stories rising high above the skyline and a back drop view of both the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges. Contra Costa Electric, Inc. was awarded this installation of voice and data cabling on all 17 floors for Seibel Systems new headquarters.
This project consisted of the installation of category 5E cabling for voice & data to over 6,500 workstations encompasing all seventeen floors. Work also included the buildout of an MDF, new switchroom , two data centers and 34 IDF closets, and singlemode/ multimode backbone and riser cabling, At its peak, this project had 25 technicians onsite and working multiple shifts to meet the short timeline for move in. CCE completed this project on time and on budget with problem free cutovers of every floor.
